The Hypto is undoubtedly and iconic piece of the Haydenshapes brand. It’s won a ‘design nod’ via Australia’s prestigious Good Design Awards, thrice winner of Surfboard of the Year (two in Australia, one in the US) and has featured beneath the feet of Craig Anderson in some of his career’s most memorable moments… That Iker San Martin image at Kandui, two Surfers Journal covers, key features in Slow Dance among others.
The fundamental design of the Hypto Krypto from a shape standpoint hasn’t changed since it’s launch back in 2007 and Hayden really has no intention of doing so. Aesthetically, every now and again, we’ll add some new flavour.
